Go Wild In Costa Rica: Women's Only Nature Safari

BOZEMAN, Montana—Costa Rica is one of the most biologically diverse countries in Central America, and an ideal setting for an adventure travel tour for adventurous solo female travelers. AdventureWomen, Inc., a pioneer in adventure vacations for active women travelers over 30, is hosting an 11-day Costa Rica women’s only wildlife and nature safari. These adventurous women will go whitewater rafting on the mellow Sarapiqui River, sea kayak the lagoons and jungle waterways of Tortuguero National Park, horseback ride on Cocles Beach, mountain bike Costa Rican country trails, explore the rainforests on an Aerial Canopy Adventure, relax in hot spring pools, hike the lava flows of the Arenal Volcano, and snorkel in the fabulous Caribbean waters of Cahuita National Park. Participants can do all of the activities or pick and choose the ones that are right for them. Group numbers are kept small, but the adventure is big. Visitors will Stay in luxury hot springs resorts, hotels, bungalows, and rainforest lodges, and they will get to view some of Costa Rica’s 12,000 plant varieties, 237 species of mammals, and 850 species of birds.  Dates: October 9th-19th, 2008.
