The Great Botswana Giveaway: Great Wing Safari Including Roundtrip Airfare

The first ten travelers to book this tour will receive international airfare from an East Coast gateway airport to South Africa on one of four major airlines

GLENDALE, Cali. – Great Safaris, an award-winning luxury safari outfitter, just released a ‘wild and wonderful’ offer to Botswana and the Okavango Delta: book the 10-day Great Wing Safari and qualify for complimentary international air tickets!

The first 10 travelers who book this safari will be given an international ticket from a U.S. East Coast gateway airport to South Africa. International air will be in conjunction with South African Airways, Delta Airlines, Emirates or Ethiopian Airlines.

Travel is valid from Nov. 1 through Dec. 23, 2015. The special offer is based on Premier level accommodations, using Belmond luxury 5-star safari lodges.

Botswana is known as “Old Africa’s Last Refuge”, a truly wild destination where beasts roam free as they have done for millennia. This underdeveloped, landlocked nation has a small human population – including some of the last remaining Bushmen – leaving most of the land to be ruled by the animal kingdom. Safari-goers will get the full safari experience, receiving breathtaking views from open safari vehicles as well as aerial game viewing from small bush planes. This itinerary also highlights three unique ecological areas, offering dry game drives, canoeing “wet safaris” and thrilling walking safaris.

Travelers will spend two nights at each of three distinct Belmond Luxury Lodges, all of which are unique in design and offer a smorgasbord of activities. “Water” lodges specialize in wildlife activities aboard mekoros (canoes), leading safari-goers to the best spots to see birdlife, hippos, crocodiles and other wetland species. “Land” lodges offer the pursuit of big land mammals in open safari vehicles, providing travelers with up-close views of elephant, buffalo, lions and zebra – no zoom lens needed!

Included are two nights at the newly rebuilt Belmond Eagle Island Lodge, now touted as the most stylish and luxurious water-based safari experience in the Okavango Delta. An exciting helicopter trip over the Delta is included for all participants.

Whether a first-timer or seasoned safari aficionado, Botswana’s wildlife legacy never fails to get the heart pumping and the cameras clicking.

Program price from $7,395 per person sharing. Includes alcoholic beverages and spacious air-conditioned tented lodging. Children’s rates are available upon request.
