Air Service Returns to Sheridan, Wyoming

SHERIDAN, Wyo. — Air service returns to Sheridan on November 19, 2015, when Key Lime Air DBA Denver Air Connection begins operating daily non-stop flights between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Sheridan County Airport (SHR).

Denver Connection will offer 13 round-trip flights between the two cities each week. This air service agreement is a partnership between Sheridan and Johnson Counties and Denver Air Connection. All parties are coordinating pricing, operations and marketing in an effort to assure Wyoming residents receive the highest quality air service in the state.

Denver Air Connection began passenger operation in 2007, providing service between Grand Junction Airport (GJT) and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC) and Centennial Airport (APA). DAC carried more than 13,000 passengers between these locations. Their passenger safety record is exceptional and unique to the airline industry owns and operates its own fleet of modern aircraft enabling the company to control its stringent standards of its operational and maintenance programs.

Service to Denver will operate on a twice-daily schedule on 30-passenger Dormier 328jet with two pilots and a flight attendant. Flights from Sheridan to Denver will facilitate connections to points worldwide. “Sheridan represents an exciting opportunity for Denver Air Connection,” says Key Lime President Cliff Honeycutt. “I believe the community will value Key Lime’s operational reliability, customer service and low fares.”

The flights are being launched in conjunction with CAST, the Critical Air Service Team, a community-wide stakeholders group from Sheridan. “We are excited for the announcement of this new service into Sheridan,” said Bruce Garber, community representative of CAST. “We anticipate Denver Air Connection’s service will provide tremendous economic value for Sheridan and the surrounding area.”
