MT. RAINIER, Wash. — Visit Rainier has named September "Senior Savings" month for its visitors, and Northwest Trek, the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad and several lodging properties are discounting their rates up to half off for seniors seeking a fall adventure!

At Northwest Trek a weeks-old moose calf is wowing visitors; and the rutting season is underway. Visitors ages 65 and up receive half-off general admission all month. Seniors will also receive a 10 percent discount in the Forest Café and in the gift shop. For more information: www.nwtrek.org.
