Billings, MT - The 2016 All Nations Indian Relay Championship is guaranteed to be the most exciting cultural and sports event on the calendar! The largest gathering of Indian Nations in the 200-year history of this ancestral event. This four-day all Indian festival features bareback relay horse races with thrilling starts and riders changing horses two times; the rider acts as the human baton throughout the horse race. Teams from as many as 30 Indian Nations across the Northern Plains will have earned points in the Professional Indian Horse Racing Association sanctioned races to represent their respective nations in this Championship. The bravest, fastest and best teams will compete in the Relay Team, Warrior, Ladies, Junior and Kids races at the historic MetraPark Grandstands in Billings, MT. The all-star gathering will include Indian arts, crafts and concessions, plus, dancing, drumming and other cultural activities. Indian Relay is proclaimed by many to be the world’s most exciting, explosive, thrilling and action-packed sport. Four action-packed days! Expect the unexpected! Guaranteed to be great family fun.

Officials of the Professional Indian Horse Racing Association (PIHRA) announced that regional sponsorships opportunities are available. The Association will be marketing and promoting this event to a local and regional area. Indian Relay Sponsors who invest $20,000 will be included in the marketing efforts guaranteeing a great return on investment. Logos of sponsors will be displayed in posters and flyers distributed in a 300-mile radius of Billings beginning 90 days before the event. Also included in this sponsorship package:

  • Sponsor will be featured on our website, letsrelay.com and in our social media campaigns.
  • Advance Publicity Activity: The Championship event has a full-time engaged public relations agency to publicize the event, sponsors, teams. and ancillary activity beginning several months in advance and post-event. Expect national, regional and local media release distributions with reportable pick-ups and exposure in print, broadcast and social media.
  • Large Sponsor logo on MetraPark Pictorial Wrap.
  • Logo or advertisement on one full page in Event Program.
  • Jumbotron advertising presentation. Will receive three :30-second video spots and three :15-second video spots each performance. Sponsor to supply spots.
  • 10’ x 10’ vendor space on first floor of stadium and opportunity to predominately display wares or promotional materials.
  • 8 VIP passes for each performance: total 32 (2 tables), ($6400 value).
  • 10 reserved tickets for each performance-total 40 (4 days), ($1600 value).
  • Post-Event Legacy Exposure: A television program about Indian Relay and the Road to Billings is being produced by the Professional Indian Horse Racing Association. The TV program is in production and will be filming this Championship event as a key highlight in the program. The TV program will be aired on national television in the Spring of 2017. Sponsor exposure will most certainly be included in this TV program. In addition to its live airing, the program will be available on the Internet where international followers will view and share as fans of Indian relay.

Jumbotron Sponsors - $10,000

  • In advance and duration of event this sponsor will be featured on our website, letsrelay.com and in our social media campaigns.
  • Jumbotron sponsor will receive two :30-second video spots and two :15-second video spots on the Jumbotron each performance.
  • Announcer recognition one time during event daily.
  • Logo or advertisement on one full page in Event Program.
  • 4 VIP passes for each performance: total 16 (1 table), ($3200 value).
  • 6 Reserved tickets for each performance-total 24 ($960 value).
