FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The city of Fort Collins, home to the ExperiencePlus! world headquarters, kicked off the summer on June 24th with Bike to Work Day. This is a biannual event designed to encourage people to experience the many benefits of riding a bike. Fort Collins is proud to highlight their extensive bike route system, and to demonstrate that bicycling is an easy, fun, and healthy alternative for traveling around the Choice City.
Working in partnership with the Fort Collins Food Co-Op (located at 250 E. Mountain Avenue), and the Bohemian Foundation, ExperiencePlus! served up a tasty selection of mini vegan breakfast burritos (made by the Food Co-op), nourishing Kind energy bars, thirst-quenching oranges and energizing Jackie’s Java coffee. Over 300 hungry riders, including many local ExperiencePlus! tour alumni, stopped by the food station to mingle with super hero-clad volunteers to promote this popular event. ExperiencePlus! co-owner, Maria Elena Price, and her team look forward to getting out of the office and into the community as they practice what they preach in support of Colorado cycling, “This is a great way to celebrate a community of year-round cycling and encourage people to come out and join us. Even if it’s not easy, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t at least try it!”
