Farm and Frills Antique Show in Enumclaw

Take Mom shopping May 6- 7 at the Farm and Frills antique show held at the Enumclaw Expo Center.  The show features hundreds of antiques, as well as repurposed furniture and decorations.  Take a step back in time and check out the vintage trailers on site too.  For more information, visit 

Experience Washington Wine Country in Enumclaw
Tickets to the Enumclaw Wine Walk would make a great gift for Mom.  Saturday, May 14 Cole Street in downtown Enumclaw will be closed to traffic so participants can enjoy the city’s annual spring wine walk.  Twenty local businesses will be showcasing twenty different Washington wineries in their stores.  Try wines from Naked Winery, Naches Heights Vineyard Carl’s Pond, and more.  This year folks can also check out a couple cideries and a brewery offering beverages like Honey Basil Ale, and Basil Mint Cider.  Tickets purchased before May 1 are $25 and include 10 tasting tickets and a commemorative wine glass.  Wine walk is 5 to 9 p.m.  For more information call 360-825-7666 or visit,

Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad, Elbe

Treat Mom to a family day riding the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad’s steam train the foothills of Mt. Rainier to pristine Mineral Lake.  Trains depart at 10 a.m., 12:45 and 3:30 p.m., departing from the Elbe Depot and making a 40-45 minute trip out to Mineral Lake.  Each trip allows time to explore the museum in Mineral.   Tickets include a special gift for Mom.  For more information call 360-569-7959 or visit,
